Trip to Little Johnstone Bay - Alaska
March, 2002

Jerry L. Imm

Yesterday, Don, Mary and I flew to Little Johnstone Bay on the outer coast in the Northern Gulf of Alaska, about 30 miles east of Seward. The day was spectacular, clear, sunny and no winds to speak of. The ride down was almost totally smooth, and I took a lot of DIGPIX, and the attached are some samples. I reduced these in size, so I could send out at least 5 and hopefully not overload mail boxes.

When we arrived, Don landed on the beach since he was on wheels, and I landed higher up on the beach on the snow, since I was on skis. We walked around, ate lunch, Don and Mary checked their cabin which is situated back in woods, and then we returned via the coastal route, and again the air was very smooth. It was a good trip and the scenery never gets old.

Enjoy!
